There’s a room where the light won’t find you...
Daisy: As soon as you’re ready, Swan we’ll be going.
As soon as Daisy said this, Dove went to her room, and close her door with frustration.
Quartz: Alright birdie, we’ll be going, see you later!
Swan: Mummy, I left my gloves inside, can I go get them?
Daisy: But sweetie-
Swan: Thanks!
Daisy: Sorry to leave all of a sudden, but your father and I have a meeting with the Raw society.
Dove looks at her mother in surprise
Dove: What do you mean meeting? I thought that was tomorrow!
Daisy: The society suggested why wait till tomorrow, when we all come back from work, when we can do it today, on our day off? And your sister needs to go through the Rite of Acceptance, along with her other friends.
Dove looks at her sister in disbelief. Swan had completely forgotten that she was qualified for the club months ago.
Swan: This is great. All so great.
Quartz: Indeed it is, Swan!
This is a big problem.
Daisy: You inconsiderate, little brat.
Dove: What?
Daisy: All of this was done so YOU could lead the best life possible. I did all this for YOU. Not your father, not your sister, not me, but YOU. My mother and father raised me the same way, so that i could live the best life for my family and myself. But YOU can’t seem to wrap your child-like brain around those facts!
Dove: How is shoving me in a room for the majority of my life, not letting me OR Dad see his berry friends, me not experiencing a normal, goddamn childhood, the best for me? Sounds like your ideal life is being forced on to me!
Daisy: Get the hell out of my sight, now! Don’t you ever expect to leave that room ever. And those stupid paintings you have there, will be gone in the morning! And the easel will be relocated to a place you will never see. Do you understand?
Dove: Just watch, in a few days, those paintings and that easel won’t be the only thing that disappears!
Great. Now I have to play the abiding prisoner, so that they’d trust me enough, so that i can disappear. I should’ve listened to Swan. Well, that’s all that happened in my day. I have to rework my plan so that it can work around this new predicament. Dove, signing off.
Dove: You heard me! You think so highly of yourself, you barely notice what’s going on with me.
Daisy: How dare-
Dove: You don’t even care about me! My happiness means absolute shit to you!
Daisy: ...What did you just say to me?
Dove: All you seem to care about is everything Raw. Raw this, raw that, no one gives a damn! From your stupid cult of pale, prestige, plastic dolls, to the poor Raws you’ll groom to marry both me and Swan. WE don’t even have a say in who we spend the rest of our lives with! Speaking of Me and Swan, you clearly love her more than me! Even if you love me at all. You have given her everything i could ever want: To go outside, to have friends!
As you can guess, this was the deciding factor that i have to push the escape date. I kind of regret snapping on her, but she deserved it through the years of neglect she put me through.
Dove: Let’s see, where in Maple Crepe is Potters Splay again? ...Uh what this? ... Blah, Blah, Blah, home to Mr and Mrs Whip and their son, blah, blah, wait? ... Still one of the many STILL STANDING SINCE THE BERRY CIVIL WAR? does Dad know thi-
???: Dove Peristeri Whip, what in the name of all this berry are you doing there???
Dove: Aw Raw... Oh Mum didn-
Daisy: What are you doing on the computer? I forbade you to go on it, that it is meant for everyone else in the house! You are in so much trouble young lady- What the hell is this? Go to your room, you’re not eating dinner!
So i did as i was told. Went to my room. But i waited for my dad to hand me my serving and my sister gave me a drink.
This witch is really cramping my style.
So I came back home. Looking back at what I could’ve done today that would’ve pissed off my mum, knocking on a door was the least of my problems.
Dove: The lights still on, but Mum’s not in the living room, or kitchen? Then i’ll just creep back into bed.
•••
Daisy: And where the hell were you?
Dove: Oh shi- Mum, I didn’t see you ther-
Daisy: You seem to not be seeing me a whole damn lot today. And you also seem loving angering your mother too.
Dove: Look, I went to-
Daisy: You think this rebellious act is gonna last long? You THINK the world outside this house is gonna accept this stupid behaviour?
Dove: You think the world outside this house would accept the way you speak people, you stuck-up prick?
Daisy: E-EXCUSE ME??!
I told you knocking on doors was the worst thing I could do today...
Peep how i changed her🤤
i still hate her tho. Evil witch mum.
