Made some references for the lads for a magic au of mine called Hell and High Water

The way I've done the drawings is very misleading to what actually happens in the story, but they also give a bunch of hints. Just let it be known that you cannot look at Daithi's sheet without the context of Brian's, and somewhat vice-versa.

The ENTIRE ROTD Cast!!!

I have put them in order of when I drew them- Kevin, Sean, Dan, Tucker (Turg), Daithi, Grim, Diana (Default Default), Brian, Jim, and Spiff!

These palettes were randomly generated from this challenge, and I picked who I did when via a random wheel spinner <3

So excited to FINALLY share all the designs of these guys! They’re been rotating in my mind for MONTHS. I might take these drawings and recolor them in their proper palettes, but I’m really happy with them! I think it’s fun to see how the art slowly got more and more detailed as I went along!

Daithi

- Remembers how and why he died, but doesn’t like to talk about it with anyone

- He can go through solid objects, but every now and then, will get “stuck” halfway through something 

- He won’t admit this, not to anyone, but when he died, he sacrificed himself to save his past family.

- While he’s often screaming at the lads for the dumb hijinks they get into, he loves them to death (another pun intended) and tries to help in the ways that he can

- He doesn’t have to sleep, so while the lads are he tends to read in the library. When brian or Dan go out, they try to find some books for him

- Possessing objects is fun, but it can take a lot of effort that he usually saves for making himself visible 

- Brian is constantly on the lookout for things and materials that are easy for Daithi to manipulate 

- So far, tin and the air around have proven the easiest 

- Because him and dan are the only ones to experience this, they talk about immortality in private. 

- He has been around dan for as long as he can remember being a ghost, so a good amount of decades

- He’s afraid that he’ll never actually get to the afterlife, and that the lads will die without him, and he’ll be alone again 

- While he has been with Dan for 97.99% of the time, there was a gap of time where he spent the first two years of his afterlife alone. It was confusing, disorienting, and miserable and he never wants to be alone ever again.

Here's some basic info about Dee's childhood and bg before his adventures at AKA.

Born in Wicklow, Ireland.

Diarmuid is an only child born to his father Daithi (David) and mother Aphria (A-free-Uh).

Diarmuid’s parents are sweet, nurturing, kind, and very devout to their religion. He lived a very happy and near-sheltered life.

His dad is a retired pro rugby player that now coaches, and his mom is a language teacher.

His dad wasn't born with an Alpha gene, therefore he doesn't have abilities, but his mom did and passed her Telelinguistic ability down to Dee.

Healers don't run in the family! And Dee's healing abilities manifested at the age of 12... A miracle?

Father Dougald has been a close friend of the family since before Dee was born, and he loves him as if he was his own grandkid. He's very protective of him, especially since healers are rare and he knows it'll have a big impact on Dee's life.

Aoife is the daughter of a friend of his parents. But Diarmuid loved her from the day Aoife was born. He treated her like a little sister. They were inseparable.
