also dak is an interesting, simple character, like not in a bad way tho. i wish he got more screentime. it wouldve been cool for him to give btr some advice

Frankly, I think we were robbed of Dak Zevon being a supporting character. He was an original celebrity played by a lesser known actor who apparently was supposed to be a real part of BTR in the original pilot.

Honestly, I'm surprised that Rhu wants to/eventually dates and marries Dak because it looks like her own family doesn't even like him and it doesn't seem he likes them either rather than puts up with them just to get to her. Not saying your family HAS to like your SO but it's a big thing.

You’re right, family liking you SO is a big thing and I see where you’re coming from. This has been something I’ve taken into consideration when really working out not only Rhuben’s character in general, but their relationship.

A lot of the time i have just said that they work together as a couple instead of really showing it. Or with the way I wrote it previously, looking back on it, it kind of was just there and written for the sake of having another pairing. (If that makes sense).

Another reader has pointed out similar thoughts and has allowed us to re-think our characters and their relationships in areas we hadn’t considered and think will help make our characters even stronger.
