Just finished A Darker Shade of Magic. I loved so much! I love Kell and Lila! They are the best and I’m looking forward to book 2.

A Conjuring of Light Hypothesis

Hypothesis for Delilah Bard:

In the prior 2 books, Lila was considered blind in one eye and that rendered her insecure about being under attack. She used a fake eye in order to make people believe it was there and to dissuade possible threats. What does this point to? Is she an antari? Or is she something entirely different? Victoria, the author also allowed Lila to move between 3 Londons. And, as such, it must mean she holds power equivalent to the weakest antari in order to move between worlds. The black stone, which easily overcomes people, and was the subject of interest in the first book, seems to have been the first key in understanding how important Delilah, truly, is. I believe her existence is something caught between antari and a link between black London and the other Londons. I believe her existence is the key in stopping Osaron and bringing magic back to the other Londons. Magic is the cause for each London’s demise and uplifting nature. Seen in Red London, magic gives people livelihood. But, in white london, magic is so scarce, its impossible to have magic and go unnoticed. And the last London, which was left without magic at all. Lila must be an antari, or something better. Something powerful. I feel it in my bones!
