She was exhausted; it had been an insanely long flight from New York to Seoul, and she was a light sleeper--every time the plane hit turbulence, she had woken up with a start. But she was finally home after visiting her parents for their anniversary. There were a couple reasons why she had come to Dalpo’s apartment instead of her dorm, the first being that there were too many people at the dorm and she wanted to isolate herself, but the main reason being that she missed her boyfriend and wanted to see him as soon as possible, even if he was sleeping. She used the key he had given her to get in, dropping her bags at the front door and shushing the puppies so they wouldn’t wake anyone up before slipping out of her shoes and flopping onto the couch. She’d move in a moment; she just needed a couple minute long power nap. @mkdalpo

Brandi could dance. She could sing. She was a good leader. She could keep things tidy if she needed to, and sometimes she could act. But on the list of things she was adequate at, there was a lack of baking. She could not bake. For a first date, it wasn’t something she’d’ve picked on her own. She was prepared for a disaster, and that excited her.
She went over to Dalpo’s apartment on the day picked by the show, and knocked on his door, groceries in tow. She hoped he knew what he was doing at least; she didn’t want to burn his place down.

Driving didn’t take as long as she thought it would; traffic was light and she might have been driving faster than she usually would, but she would deny it if anyone ever asked her about it. When she finally arrived, she grabbed her phone from the cup holder and skipped up to the door like the eight year old she was, knocking. She half wanted to crawl through the window or something, but she wasn’t too keen on getting injured, and she felt like it would end in that way. Maybe some other time, when she had time to heal instead of deadline after deadline
