It's been months since Roger was gone. Mark was getting worried. April just died and Roger swore he would stop using, but would he? Every day, it got colder. Every day, Mark began to worry. Mark contacted all of the places Roger used to go to: The Pyramid Club, The Cat Scratch Club (where he knows one of the dancers eyed Roger), even places where he used to get drugs from. Mark sat on the couch in the middle of the loft. What if... he thought. "Roger..."
(For Mark) WA-PISH!
Mark let out a very not so manly yelp as Roger's hand collided with his ass. He jumped before whirling around, face red with embarrassment and eyes blazing with anger. "WHAT. THE. FUCK.?"
Mark watched the taller man pace around, a look of confusion on his face. Why in the hell was Roger freaking out over that ratty old wallet, anyway? April didn't buy it for him and it had no money in it. Hell, he's had that wallet ever since Mark could remember. The damn thing was falling apart and he'd had to duck tape it back together more than once.
"Roger, calm down," Mark said, hoping to sooth the musician. He put a hand on Roger's arm in an attempt to stop his frantic pacing. The same frantic pacing that was quickly wearing at the filmmaker's nerves. "I can get you a new wallet if you're really that upset. I have twenty zillion of them in a box in my room. It seems that's all my nieces and nephews know to buy me. Plus, you didn't have any money in it. There's nothing to worry about."
