can you tell me a bit about the original stories you're working on (if you don't mind, of course)? i'd love to hear more about it!
okay i’m internally screaming because i love when people ask me about my OGs hahaha i have a few, most of them are drafts, except for Sirena that is already finished (i wrote it like, two years ago):
Acadia:
It’s a sci-fi/action/drama story inspired by the 80′s and 90′s. The story is centered around Vega and Jonah, that find a kid lost in the woods near their town. While trying to find where the nameless boy (which later on is discovered to be experimentation ATR-004, which is transformed to Arturo) they discover his ability to see beyond time, discovering secrets from the pas and having visions from the future.
(Inter)Connected:
This story is pretty much my “free time” story. When I’m bored, I write this one. It follows the life of five friends: Heitor, Lissa, Marina, Igor and Lia while they come from different parts of Brazil to enter college in Rio. It’s kind of a coming of age, romance, teenage-ish thing, i basically put the characters into different situations in college, doesn’t have a structured plot haha.
Sirena:
Inspired by mythology and romance, this story follows the life of Siena, a 100 years old mermaid destined to kill men until she finds the soul of her creator’s love. When Siena finds Caleb after over 43 murders, her heart knows she can’t give him up. It’s the only finishe story I have and it’s my little baby, because I wrote it when I was growing up and I can’t wait to have time to rewrite it and give it a more adult perspective to it.
and last, but not least…. Six Degrees of Separation:
This one is the youngest sibling, it’s inspired by my comunication Theory class and the reading of many Douglas Adams books. It follows Cecilia, a dreamy witty girl that hears about the six degrees of separation theory and decides to put it on to a test, leaving college and travelling the world to find the most remote person she can reach. In the journey she also learns about love, the improtance of family, self love and how big the world can be. This one is currently the one i’m putting most effort into, and the one i have the most vivid images in my head right now.
