9,10,35 for the obscure asks <3
9. I guess I kind of believe in auras? I’m gonna go on a tangent here for a bit but bear with me there’s a point. So, auras are ~kinda~ like vibes, right? A friend of mine told me that vibes are actually just subconscious reading of body language without knowing what to attribute characteristics to. I’m autistic and I don’t get that, so I have to physically put effort into reading subtext. I also really like all kinds of analysis – most of the subjects I like have something to do with it. SO I don’t really get auras like that, but I do understand associating colours and stuff with people. Also I say vibe all the time when I know why I think something lol social camouflage amirite haha. In conclusion, I don’t always ~get~ them but yeah I believe in them. If ur talking about like, spiritual energy, I don’t rly believe it’s a thing in itself, more that it’s someone’s perception of you bc of your actions and demeanour. I’m thinking that last part was what the question meant and i wrote a paragraph answering the wrong q lol
10. Ooh that’s a loaded one. What do I wish I hated, but actually like? I mean there are definitely quite a few of these, but none of them are coming to mind. Oh wait! I got one! Attention! I have this thing I like to call a snowflake complex? I hate it so, so much. Basically it means I’m one of those people that like, thinks they’re *quirky* (which, honestly? I kinda am? Like, quirky is just a nice way of saying ‘really fucking weird’ which just about sums me up) and sometimes I like do something or think something attention-seeking and immediately want to kill myself a little bit. Like. Whenever I get some kind of a medical diagnosis or smth, I have a phase of attention seeking – the length varies. Like if you’ve seen all those posts I made after getting diagnosed with pure gonadal dysgenesis then you know what I’m talking about. I haven’t deleted them because I don’t rly like deleting things and the swyer syndrome tag is woefully small, but every time I pass one of those on my account, I genuinely want to kind of bang my head on the table. Just a little bit.
35. When I get angry, how do I show it? Hmm. Ok, strange answer I know, but I don’t really get angry? I get irritated when something is happening, but I am physically incapable of staying angry with anything for longer than a minute. Unless they continue to do it. Otherwise, I just pretend so as not to encourage the behaviour and teach them they can take advantage of me without consequences. But when I get irritated, you’ll know. If I don’t know you, I won’t confront you about it, because I am the least passive aggressive person to have ever existed, but I’m still British, lol. But like, my eyes (and sometimes my nostrils) flare, and my eyebrows go up, and I like, huff out a breath.
OH WAIT! I forgot. When I get angry, I LAUGH. Like, I laugh. Properly. I’ll be fighting with my sister or someone, and I’ll just start laughing, usually because they do something passive aggressive (my sister likes to refuse to look at me or if we’re not fighting yet, she’ll scoff or roll her eyes a lot, or like, give me a death stare) and I find that hilarious. Usually it’s pretty poorly executed, but still. I just. Cannot help myself. I’m talking hysterical laughter sometimes. Yeah.
Ty! I love asks they make me feel warm and fuzzy
