😡 : I've thought of it, tried to open myself to the idea of it.. many times. I just cant see these two being anything beyond a really sweet friendship. They would be a support system for the other, life-long training/work companions. Always at each other's family events and or life changes. But intimate beyond it? nah.

I actually do ship this, but I'm picky af bout' it.I feel like this would be a later 20s/early 30s type ship (for Sakura), when she's grown-up and experienced a lot of things to help shape her mentally. Where she's achieved a lot personally and this compliments her person tremendously (in a humble manner). I feel that would earn Itachi's interest/respect and he could see her beyond 'the girl who was in love with my little brother'. Also, I feel that Itachi would require a lot of time to grow into a man independently. That he would be the type to not explore the relationship side of things until later on in life, his focus entirely on other matters. While he may enjoy a casual thing from time to time, it would be highly selective and private. -- I hate the typical 'broken' spin people put on these two where shipping is involved (you see it a lot with Kakashi/Sakura). There's more, but I've generally laid out an idea on what I mean regarding these two.

And hope is all she has. “Of course he just vanishes.” The kunoichi spits out with a piece of her hoping he could hear her and was smirking from some tree top. A puff of air is exhaled at her bangs and she joins him to the cover of the trees.

A knee rests on a branch, hand firm against the base. “It’s not nice to leave without saying anything,” Sakura whispers with a smirk on her lips.

roleplaying habit questions

what’s a grammar rule you find yourself breaking or ignoring a lot?

 I’ll make up words. I don’t give a fuck. I want this word to be an adverb, but it doesn’t exist in adverb form? Add a ‘-ly’, and presto, motherfucker. Shakespeare did it, so why can’t we?

what is your biggest obstacle to writing every day, if time doesn’t count?

 Distractions. Writing on a computer is actually fairly difficult for me because I constantly alt-tab or get distracted by a million things that I don’t even realize are distracting me until it’s two hours later and my Tumblr tabs are long lost relics I forgot even existed (thanks, ADD). I write replies ten times faster when I just sit down with a piece of paper and pencil apart from any screens, then type them up later.

what’s your thought process when you format? any unspoken rules you follow?

 Over-formatting is for people who are so self-conscious about their writing that they feel the need to obfuscate it with as many fancy doodads and shiny baubles as possible. You don’t need to constantly bold, italicize, strikethrough, cursive-ify, or ultra-shrink every other word of your reply. In fact, doing so actually distracts from the emotional punch and the story you are trying to convey, because you prevent your readers from getting immersed in your actual text by forcing them to decipher the damn words in the first place. The only formatting I do is to make smaller text because I think it looks neater, and bold speech because that helps me feel more organized in the reply. Sometimes I won’t even bold speech. Too much more than that is unnecessary. Over-formatting is one of the most common reasons I won’t follow someone back, actually.

Not too clear, either, on the distinction between heroes and winners. They were often one and the same.

Madara states more than asks. In the eerie quiet of his new home in the Uchiha Compound, there was nothing else that accompanied them except for how sterile everything seemed to be. New, unused, yet cleaned often. It was as if no one and everyone lived here at the same time.

       “Heroes SAVE. You cannot save anyone if you do not win.        Therefore, only winners can be heroes.”

What good was anyone dead and cold and six feet under? What good was power and honour and valour if one could not save their closest kin in the most crucial hour?

To put it simply, Naruto was in a bad mood. His day had gone in a sequence of bad, to worse, to terrible. 

He was overcharged for his groceries (which consisted of a variety of half-off cup ramen) again, which only left him with barely enough for this weeks rent. Scowling, the child clenched his fists tighter around the plastic bags, kicking the rocks on the pavement in a sulking manner—before he felt the pressure of something knocking into him.

“Oi! Watch where ya goin’, can’t ya see I got somewhere to be?!”

        The chain of his bike is rusting. He notices early in the morning and finds himself staring at it dumbly, as if he’s not sure what to do. He thinks he’s supposed to oil it or something--he’s done it before. But here he is just staring at it. It’s rusting. He’s rusting. The daze sticks with him even after his attempt to shake it off, but he continues on with his day. There’s a note from Kenji on the fridge--some reminder to eat and call him later. Souma has been gone for an hour, and there’s a faint relief there he doesn’t want to analyze. The time escapes him as he readies himself, and then he’s on his bike as always.

            Sometime, half way through his route, a gear shift pulled at the chain in just the right way. He’s pulling one of those stupidly fast turns that Kenji keeps saying he needs to stop. He’s going to get himself killed speeding like that. Saburo had just shrugged, earning himself a hard smack across the head. But now there’s a spark of panic; the kind that only near-death could elicit. An ominous rattle. The chain chokes the gears. The pedals jam and Saburo yells as he’s tossed; a heap of limbs onto the concrete. 

             It’s actually kind of lucky. The bike gets totaled a few seconds later when a car runs the light. Saburo is laying there, half up on the sidewalk staring wide eyed at the mess a few feet ahead of him. Beneath him there’s the package he was supposed to deliver, groceries, one of those prepaid meal plan things. It’s a mess on the pavement and also ... Someone’s shoes. Saburo looks up; the daze no longer choking him, but shock was just as bad. 

                          “...Uh. Gomenasai...Uchiha...” Saburo murmured, because somehow it was always him. He has the awful sensation that he might burst into tears any second.

      “thankfully no.” for she could already tell the night would be much longer than expected. unless there was an emergency, sakura was free to sleep in the next day. her impending headache would be thankful. a soft ‘thank you’ was mumbled in response as he placed the mug in front of her, palms curling around the warm material & a small smile coming to life as the scent was recognized. she took a sip, reveling in the familiarity & warmth of her favourite tea.

       “oh ----- it's just the hospital, as usual.” she gave him a reassuring smile in an attempt to show her husband ( she still needed more time to get used to that new title ) that things weren't as bad as they seemed. “i’ve been stressing about a future meeting. discussing an increase in our budget is never an easy thing to do...” she took another sip from the mug, already feeling the headache coming. “... but i was also worried about you.”

       when sakura woke up ( from what could only be considered a feeble nap ) & didn’t find him by her side, she couldn’t stop overthinking & wondering what kept him up. it was so late already... so, not being able to go back to sleep, & honestly too worried for that, she stood up & followed the noise into their kitchen. “i came looking for you.” 

       emerald hues searched for his gaze. “is everything okay?”
