Can you imagine pearl standing there at the "character building screen" for a week deciding on the perfect bow though? To go symmetric or not, really having to internally think about who she wants to be.
haha, yea, I’d really love to know what goes on in a gem when a Gem is in there. ‘cause yea I really do picture something like a character creation screen and Pearl is just agonizing over how her character looks and trying to get the sliders just right and having to choose between selections that are very similar because she can’t decide which works the best
and Amethyst was the equivalent of someone just mashing ‘OK’ over and over on the character creation screen but kind of screwing up and hitting the wrong button and changing the sliders up so she accidentally made the arms legs instead of just going with the default
...now I’m picturing something like an MMO where each time you die you need to rebuild your character (your stats import though) and like when Amethyst does it they can just wait a bit and she’ll respawn and they can continue the dungeon but if Pearl does it they need to drop the dungeon because she’s going to take forever to come back
