basically, there’s these fairies that get humans hooked on a drug (called Fairy Dust, which is where the title comes from), and the drugs mean humans can see fairies for what they actually are, and allow them to enter Fairy World, where fairies will proceed to suck out the humans souls
and basically all this shit happens to the main character, a girl called Perri, and its about how she tries to escape Fairy World and then how she deals with what happened to her and her addiction and everything
