When a mysterious “Nintendo PlayStation” prototype with each an SNES cartridge slot and a CD drive made the rounds again in July, many remained skeptical. Not even Sony PlayStation’s head of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, needed to verify its authenticity.
