The now-vintage DE-1 Dan-Echo Delay Echo from Danelectro gives you all the warmth of an analog delay, coupled with the pristine, crisp delays you love from a digital delay, all in one big fat purple pedal!! Affordable and able to squeeze onto (just about) any pedalboard, this is one you can't miss...
This is a good setting. Increase the mix a bit for a solid Gold Star/Del-Fi sound.
I’m glad the JHS Pedals look at Danelectro singles out the Dan Echo, which I maintain is one of the best delays ever made. I’ve always got it close by.
Josh Scott, who owns JHS pedals, is the best. His vlog is super entertaining and informative, but best is that he shows love to a lot of pedals that the shoe-gazey boutique crowd always make fun of.
The Danelectro Dan-Echo is one of the them. It’s an incredibly killer delay, but whenever it’s on my board and I post a photo, someone always comments “killer rig, too bad about that Danelectro pedal.”
Anyway, I really dug his vlog on delay pedals, which you can watch here.
Delay for days.
The Danelectro board is coming together. The grommets for the AC plugs are a little uneven but what can you do.
