ik we always talk abt how ratio and aventurine are opposites when it comes to aeons (one wants to be seen and isn't, other is seen and hates it) but. it's also interesting to observe how they're opposites with people too. i think

ratio is a somewhat controversial public figure? but mostly well liked. he has some haters sure but his fans and appreciators are louder and more common. he grew up surrounded by people oohing and aahing over his achievements, always a part of a group

and yet. does he have any actual friends? 🤔 literally the only other playable character who has any voice lines about him atm is aventurine. it kinda seems like his only other friends are screwllum and maybe the trailblazer. the other geniuses don't pay much mind to him. iirc in that one keeping up with star rail video where he was announced to be free they mentioned barely knowing him. it's literally just screwllum

meanwhile, aventurine seems to be kind of hated. tbf, he IS a relatively high ranking member in the ipc so that's plenty reason for the average person to dislike him. not to mention his luck is bound to get anyone he's betting against to wish upon his death lol. and idk if that's how he is with just tb or if he's like that with everyone but he also doesn't seem to want to leave a good impression anyway. he grew up alone, quite literally had to kill all the other slaves in order to survive, and ofc, he is the last of his kind. always forced to be separated from others like him.

but. people in his life are generally okay with him. going by numbers, there are currently 7 characters who have voice lines about him. most of them are positive or at least show some form of care or familiarity. he has bonds whether he knows about them or not. people caring about him is why and how he got out of the nihility

and. this is one i'm p sure i have seen brought up before but i think it's important to mention. it doesn't seem like aventurine likes humanity as a whole that much (and can we really blame him for that after what he's been through 😭). but ratio loves humanity to the point of it being a defining characteristic of his, to the point of missing out on what was likely his dream before.

it's an interesting contrast. and it can even add a few layers to the bond between them, too. what it means for them to have it in the first place. how it affects each one of them, and the both of them together as a unit.

Warning of kinda insulting, autism and deep thoughts

who may be close friends to Endiveenjoyer,

you all are incredible ignorant to defending someone that has lied to make themselves the victim.

There is so many things you all don't know - that she is playing dumb to all of you. As we all have seen she knows better and she has showing it many times- by actions of calling others out for they hypocrite minds, arts and feitshes.

And yet you all turn an blind eye when she makes the people that called her out - seem worse then her, with no proof and just screenshot of conversation of other people that have no to little meaning into that seriously theme.

I know you all - have seen big popular people in the art community do the same thing as her. Calling anyone else bad but not them.

Even if she says she has done it but she never told the length of it. Because she is a coward to show you all ignorant people. What she truly does behind the scenes. Saying the n word, hurting cats by pretending to care for them, drawing young visons of characters in extreme se*ual ways, showing people her own s/h pictures when they clearly have bad experiences/triggers. Many have told her that she shouldn't do it and yet many of you don't see- she doesn't care about you at all. She doesn't do with anyone of her friends, not even her so called best friend Lilaccbush.

To the point of friends → her friends are just like her- that love unmoral stuff, and if they aren't she hates them and even shit-talks behind they back. And she does it even if you are just like her. She insults you for no reason and yet all are just blind.

And endiveenjoyer never give something in return to other artist as some have come to my friend and his partner and told them right to they face. so how many of you did something for her but never got anything. Let's see

And lastly she made stuff up too. Since when does " bi*ching around because you can't get something you want " meaning evil lesbian doing something evil. It's says you Dan/ Endiveenjoyer/ papilio are an spoiled brat that just cries and blames anyone else for your downfall or you so called autistic moments just because you didn't want that type of thing or you didn't like it or just insult you. Doesn't it ?

you hate it when people insult you - yet have no problems talking shit behind someone's back, it hurts doesn't it that your ego gets insult because you know you aren't an special person, nobody truly likes you and everyone sees you as something that is true. You are an spoiled brat with issues because you hate yourself - to the point you want to be big popular person.

also - an austisc person does have many spiral moments that happen almost everyday, with no reason or with one. It can be big or small, it can just happen when you sit there and enjoy yourself.

And here is pap saying : she didn't had them for almost a year or many months and it only happend when her ego was insulted.

Myself being in the autistic side, having a light austim where I can have moments were- I feel exhausted or extremely triggered by the little things as someone saying an wrong word and then correcting them.

Also hyperfixations isn't just enjoying the characters but enjoying the deep meaning of all the little things, note everything. Not just " ohohi I like the lady cat because she is a woman " that is just seeing them as just that " a woman" when the cat lady has probably more to her then, woman to her.

I have seeing it a lot by Endiveenjoyer - who see them as just " woman " and you again are blind to see it and defend her ass - that she doesn't se*uals women.

Infact she draws the characters that have little to no chest, big chested says a lot to her too - that she makes things up to seem more honest like

"I draw petite women " and then does the opposite of petite like the cat lady.

I love the cheerful gays on my dash that are celebrating the Irving/Burt situation, but like-

Wasn’t it conveniently timed that Lumon was able to search his house while Irving was away? Isn’t it interesting that this household he found himself in, has a very puritanical and obsessive view of a very corporate religion?

Isn’t it wild how Irving was protected from the truth of the situation, while this gay religious couple (who, in Lumons perspective, would have doubly benefited from being in the dark as to the reasons for Burt’s retirement) are told the explicit truth about the innie’s love affair? Feels a bit like giving the dog some scraps to try to appease its hunger…

Listen, just - Are we sure Lumon didn’t give Burt the idea to invite Irving over? That he’s been bought, or religiously guilted, or pressured by his partner into distracting Irving from his investigation?

I’m not saying don’t feel delighted by the implications of their dynamic, but also that Fucker, Ben Stiller, has revealed himself to be somebody who toys with emotions, makes us feel happy and then upset - like some kind of goddamned storyteller out here

Still can't believe it's gone. RIP Hidden Adventure.

I don't know if I got everything, but with the audio always seeming to de-sync the longer I played, I chose instead to start capturing the story moment by moment, choice by choice and going back to the decision points as much as I could until time ran out.

I imagine I got a fair bit of it. And this way, hopefully in the near future, I can edit the videos together. Or connect them in a way that simulates the options we were given.

I'm grateful I had the chance to get through this wonderful little adventure story a few more times. Even managed to catch a couple scenes I don't know if I'd seen before.

Thank you to everyone else who worked to archive this piece of Jurassic media. Hopefully together the fandom managed to gather every possible path. This episode deserves to be preserved on physical media along with Seasons 4 & 5 of Camp Cretaceous.

i think part of why i’m enjoying BG3 rn is the shameless shipping bc. in other fandoms i sometimes feel a bit silly shipping things yknow. and it’s not that shipping is BAD but you know there’s always someone out there who’ll be like “urgh they would never work in canon” but in BG3.
