Hanji walked into Erwin's office, she knew the man would be up since neither him nor her were known for their long hours sleep. Both were 'workaholics' in a sense that sleep came second to either science or paperwork. She sat in the spare chair opposite him, and started to talk about her thoughts.
"..." she paused, wondering if Erwin really was listening since he had his nose to the folder on his desk. It's now or never, time to see if you're listening... she thought, gearing herself up to tell him what exactly had been bothering her the last few weeks. "You know... Levi never listens to me, but that's not the reason I decide to come to you about everything. When I need anything..." she started, trying to say what she wanted to. "You're always there for me... Erwin. You've never called me crazy, never said anything bad, I never felt like this about anyone else... If I needed too, I'd give my life for you" the scientist finished and looked away, why couldn't she just tell him she loved him? But that was the same thing though...
