FFXIV planning a Ultimate Raid with the Warring Triad + Kefka as it revealed the clown at the end of the latest update trailer.

I was trying to find this in whatever trailer you meant and was going mad when i couldn't find it. Sure is just Kefka's face.

Looks like Enuo is in there too.

I had one of those "maybe I should finally play FFXIV" thoughts just the other day. What kills the desire is that i just don't have the time for an infinite length RPG.

But speaking of Kefka and the Warring Triad, has FFXIV ever done anything with the "Statue of the Gods"? It's still my favorite final boss and favorite music ever. And I do mean that generally--hearing Dancing Mad at the age of 12 may have been one of those course-of-life-altering moments.

Wait....just answered my own question.

Maybe I will give XIV a more serious look sooner than I thought.

GUYS. I've found it. The perfect Dancing Mad cover.

There are a lot of great covers of FF6's Dancing Mad. And they're all fun to listen to! But most of them are reinterpretations of the song, or do shit like replace the solo vocals with pipe organs. And, again, it's still pretty good, but I'm always a little bummed out because that's just not what the song was intended to sound like, you know?

Well, enter Orchestral Fantasy, who assembled a massive team of musicians, vocalists, and lyricists to perform not just the song, but a fully accurate cover. Every instrument is exactly what it was intended to be. The solo vocals are there, with lyrics written just for this version of the song. There's even a little digitized Kefka laugh, perhaps a little smoother than it used to be, but no less iconic.

This is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. Dancing Mad is an incredible piece of music and it finally has the recording it truly deserves. Fucking incredible.

How is one supposed to sleep after experiencing Dancing Mad for the first time?

I finally know what FFVI is all about! Kefka is actually the best villain it's true... and I think Celes is my favourite character.
