Jon Henrik - Daniel's Jojk
Ancient Sami people lived in harsh conditions, the distances between their neighbors was simply to vast just to share news. but they lived among great valleys and hills it was normally very quiet and a load voice would carry a very long distant. so they had a certain language which allowed them to throw their voices really far. this language wasn't made up by letters or word but your basic feelings, happiness, sorrow or anger and so on. this song is a shout from a man who lost out his closest friend and shouts out his sorrow. if you've lived in the far north you know a lot about isolation and this song breaks my heart every time. its just such a beautiful concept - Quote by ZeyCliepe
