Brows knitted in confusion as a face appeared on Marie’s TV. Two perfect white eyes with blue smack in the middle and a small yet mischievous smile looked back at her. Getting up and giving the TV a small yet firm thump, a Rotom lept out and zoomed around the room.

As it hovered near the window, seeming unsure of Marie, she gave a quick nod. With that the electric/ghost took off, leaving the blonde to enjoy her show once again.

Five of those cooking hcs!

Send me “Five of those ______ HC’s” and fill in the blank with a topic, and I’ll give you five headcanons about that topic for my muse!

These apply to all verses.

1.) If she doesn’t know what to make then she defaults to beef stew. It’s one of the only recipes she really remembers without needing a cookbook. 2.) She preps food for the whole week, and always keeps leftovers. There’s usually 2-3 different kinds of food in the fridge at any one time. 3.) Though she uses beef a lot, her favorite meat is lamb. She tries to cook it once a fortnight at least. It’s best not in a stew, with some mint jelly and potatoes. 4.) Will make food for friends. Sometimes she’ll ‘accidentally’ double the recipe and need to take the ‘extra’ to those she feels close to. She also takes care to try and learn one of each person’s preferred meals. Though she tries not to do these things too often, as to not draw much attention to it. 5.) All meals have some form of meat. She also starts to add spice to her dishes overtime; however it’s not too often that they keep the spice, as she’s mainly experimenting. If she starts to come down with something, she tries adding spice to her stew to see if it helps.

Shinigami: Snapdragon ( Graciousness )

Slowly did the young Shinigami approach #136649, a flower in hand. #784392′s head was lowered as she offered the snapdragon to her elder, trying to hide her face. While only knowing the other for a short time, she felt the flower suited the other shinigami. After a moment would she walk away wordlessly.

Deserter: Purple Hydrangea ( Desire to deeply understand someone )

A smile as Marie opened the door to Undertaker’s shop, hydrangea in hand. She moved with such swiftness that she was at the desk before the door had fully closed. Setting the flower on the desk, careful not to bump anything, Marie turned to leave, her old identification number attached to the stem by a bit of paper.

“It’s a simple dance. Just do what I do.”

A small nod as Marie placed her hand in Undertaker’s, a small smile creeping onto her features. It wasn’t too often she went out so dancing in public was something the blonde wasn’t used to. However if Undertaker chose a simple dance, she wouldn’t be so rude as to turn him away.

“Thank you.” A slight bow of gratitude before straightening up again. She hadn’t expected such a thing to happen, yet it wouldn’t hurt to have a little fun with her old mentor. A dance was always welcome to the young shinigami.

'Beyond the Grave'

Send me “Beyond the Grave” and I will choose a deceased person from my muse’s backstory to have a conversation with yours.

A man would appear before the Undertaker, a small smile crossing his lips. Blue eyes shined brightly in the dim light as he rested a hand on his red beard. Studying the taller man, Ove gave him a once over.

“I’m Ove Sylvi, Ylva’s father. I take it you’re the fellow who’s been watching her.” Undertaker seemed to match the description given, yet a name was never used to address this person. A tilt of Ove’s head, noticing the scars on Undertaker’s neck and face.

“Haven’t been giving her too hard of a time, have you?” While Ylva had been rather soft and emotional when she was young, Ove didn’t want her to become cold to the world around her. The ginger crossed his arms, trying to see into the other’s eyes, yet was unable due to how dense the bangs were.

“Hope she hadn’t caused you too much trouble. Used to always get into things when she was a child.” A chuckle as he shook his head, his smile growing slightly.

“Do keep looking after her, in whatever manner that may be.” While the relationship between his child and this man seemed odd, Ove would not pry. He would hear about it in time from his child, the visits to his grave his only updates to her life.

Tired eyes fought to keep open as #784392 worked at the paperwork on her desk. She was almost done, so close to being caught back up with what Dispatch had given her so suddenly. Setting her pencil down the blonde stretched, a yawn suddenly escaping her.

It wasn’t until the shinigami looked back to her work to finish up the last forms that she realized something horrible had happened. While stretching, her cup of tea had been knocked over, drenching the stack of forms and rendering hours of work virtually useless. As she tried to gather the forms, to attempt and save any of them, the soggy paper tore in her hands.

A scream of anger ripped from the blonde, she was too tired to go and get everything again at this time of night. It would seem she would have to not only have to redo the work, yet most likely an apology as well for having to turn it in late. In her anger #784392 hit her desk, a loud bang ringing out as she dented to hard wood.

“FUCK!” Now her hand throbbed in protest to her anger. She was going to have a long and hard day tomorrow; that much was for sure.

Rosy Fog: What are their immediate views on romantic love?

Marie wants an attachment, but is scared of a commitment. She wants to find someone she can trust and feel safe with, but doesn’t want to say as much. Over the years she’s gotten used to not having a love, but that doesn’t mean she stopped longing for it.

Brickwork Shadows: Is your muse good with their hands, or do they tend to be fairly clumsy?

Marie is actually fairly skilled with her hands, able to keep them very steady and do fine work. However if she’s being watched too much, or doing something she’s not familiar with, she may be a bit more clumsy then normal.

Moonstone Luster: Are there any items they own that have sentimental value to them?

Yes, two things. The tree of life pendent on a chain on her left forearm (from her mother’s side), and her silver necklace (a gift from a old friend). More attention is drawn to the pendent, as over the years she developed the habit of gripping it when anxious.

Jade Ambition: How ambitious is your muse and what are their current goals? To what ends will they go to to make those wishes a reality?

Marie can be ambitious, depending on what the goal is. Right now it’s to find out about her family and her past. After that, to travel and learn of herself, and then maybe to find someone. Once Marie sets her mind to something, it can be very hard to deter her; there are few things she wouldn’t do to know about her past at this time.
