OKAY SO. ESSENTIALLY. a person's lifespan in pvpciv is entirely dependent on weapon durability. if you kill someone you gain their remaining weapon durability after picking up their weapon (doesn't matter what weapon - any weapon will gain durability from any other weapon or rank). since evbo has the respawn power he essentially has infinite durability, and everyone is just. okay with him being farmed over and over again(????). pvp!evbo has also said every death does hurt! like okay damn man just stab us all in the heart why don't you. (i don't even think he's a masochist. i think he just loves too much. he doesn't want anyone else to die and is willing to sacrifice himself over and over if that's what it takes.)
and like the thing is. like. ferre HAD the respawn power but clown forced him to give it up because, and this is Kinda paraphrased but "you [Ferre] believe the only determining factor in whether someone should live or die is strength." i dont even think pvp civ and pkciv count as SMPs, because theres only one story and its Evbo's. there's no other POVs or vods or anything like it at all, its just. whatever story evbo wants to tell (usually with surprisingly relevant themes/messages. something something pkciv being a message about classism/wealth inequality. really interesting. thanks evbo).
