Gin: Rides on the same gryphon as Lorna. Also Gin: Sweats.
@dariuscrowley
story time!
Gin groaned, setting aside the blouse she was attempting to make a bit looser so she could put off wearing a robe for as long as possible. “An embarrassin’ story ‘bout me? Ah, well, there is tha ever famous one where ah shouted at a 14-year ol’ Lorna Crowley tha’ she wus cute when ah firs’ started at tha’ Manor. Darius Crowley foun’ out abou’ tha’ later an’ ah think ‘e may ‘ave wanted ta kill me…” Gin’s eyes glaze over for a moment before shaking herself back to the present. “Ah…bu’ yeah. Wus on as a servant at tha’ point…worked m’way up ta Royal Guard…volunteered fer kitchen duty fer ‘bout five months after tha’…”
@areniaagn@dariuscrowley for mentions
mom + what's your thoughts on the gilnean civil war?
Minerva spent most of her years after John’s death intoxicated, so one could assume that most of her thoughts were muddled, to say the least. However…
“ ‘S a damn sh-shame…those rebels. G-greymane a-always did know w-wot wus bes’ f-fer us. Th-those damn r-rebels ‘ad ta go an’ m-muck it all up!”
Abi can be seen sweating nervously in the background, trying to hide behind Crowley and the fact that she’d joined with the rebels. Gin, on the other hand, rolls her eyes…Gin is a great royal guard, what are you talking about?

Assassinations were, contrary to serial novelists’ long held beliefs, not very common. Daniyah could say this with certainty for three reasons. One, she was a noble, and she just knew these things. Two, she was an SI:7 spy, and regular gossip in HQ always revolved around the latest murder. And three, she was simply so irritating that had there been any assassins around, the only logical person to die first would be her.
Label her shocked when she received word from her superior that there had not only been an attempt, but it had been on one Lord Darius Crowley, envoy of the Gilneas Liberation Front.
“I invited him over,” said Agent MacIntosh. Her boots were on her desk. “Yer assigned to keep an eye out fer him, and I thought it’d be smart if y’actually met first.”
Daniyah folded her arms and followed MacIntosh’s gaze at the door. Typically, political figures didn’t interest her, but this one was Gilnean, and Daniyah had yet to meet a Gilnean she didn’t have a passing appreciation for.
Top 5 Gilneans.
Gin just writes her own name five times and walks away.
Cocky little shit.
Alright, top five OC and canon Gilneans, here we go (not really in an order):
Lorna Crowley because babe with a gun. ( @lornagrowley)
Scarlett Farley because guard feels, and Scar, please stop putting scarves on Gin, five is plenty, she doesn’t need more. ( @farleytailoringco)
Darius Crowley, even though Gin is slightly afraid of him because that one time when she was fourteen she tried and failed to flirt with Lorna, and Darius please lower your gun, she won’t do it again, she is engaged, Darius, lower the gun! (And because interactions I’ve had with @dariuscrowley have been highly amusing.)
Naitailia Dresden because a former rebel and a former guard becoming friends is the best thing ever. ( @naitdresden)
Captain Wolfe Reed, if only because Gin enjoys annoying him to no end and he does it right back and it’s great. ( @wolfe-reed)
Honorable mention goes to Oliver Hillam because Gin just enjoys the scared looks he keeps giving her. ( @ambassadead)
And none for Genn Greymane, goodbye.
Darius grabbed Gin's shoulders, eyes wide. His armor was splattered with blood. "Have ya-- Have ya seen L-Lorna?"
Gin instinctively reached towards her revolver, jumping at the physical contact. Eyes meeting Darius’, she stopped, glancing over his blood-splattered armor, nostrils flaring as the crimson scent hit them.
“N-not lately…wot’s wrong, Crowley?”

Lorna has died. [[WELCOME TO FEELS]]
Gin’s ears twitched, her wolffish features showing very little emotion for a moment. A low whine escaped her muzzle as her ears drooped, just before she shifted back to her human form to turn towards Crowley. She leaned heavily on her bow for a moment before pushing herself upright and slinging the bow on her back.
“She was a good woman…bloody good shot.” Her hand grasped the man’s forearm as she spoke, looking up at him before dropping the mask she had created as a guard, offering a sad smile.
“She wus, though… ‘m so sorry, mate.” Rolling her neck, her eyes flashed amber before she grinned. “Now, then…poin’ me in tha direction o’ who killed ‘er…go’ a present fer ‘em…”
"I've decided I'll meet every one of your potential lovers from now on." Darius grinned, putting his hands together. Oh no. He has plans.
Lorna sighed and reached up to grasp her father’s wrists. “Listen. Dad. I love you. But you gave up any right you had to control my life when you hid from me and let me think you were dead.”
