Accidents Happen [Gilda & Larka]
Out of all the cities in Acirema, Gilda would heartily admit that Stella was one of her favourites. The bustling city scene being a familiar to the young Champion, of a time she was still living with her family in Lilycove. Which is probably why, after since ultimately deciding that she wouldn't be getting any challengers that afternoon, she had found herself heading towards the busy city first and foremost.
She arrived lacking her usual, gaudy attire in favour of a plain white shirt, jean shorts, flip-flops, with the hopes not to draw too much attention to herself. Even if her place as champion was still fresh in the Hall of Fame, Gilda wouldn't risk it. Tonight was down-time - for her and her pokémon, and she wasn't going to have that ruined by some statistic trainers asking for a battle in the midst of it. That very real, very annoying possibility made the young woman down right cringe.
".. prr?"
Gilda was torn free from her thoughts when she heard the curious grumble to her left, looking up from the magazine that she had been staring mindlessly at and over at Bellamy, whom had taken to nudging her hand with his nose - such a needy pokémon. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and brought the hand up to scratch the top of the Persian's neck as he settled his head on her lap, satisfied with the attention.
The two had since settled themselves on a bench in a quieter part of the city, Gilda with a magazine in hand and Bellamy curled up beside her. It was getting close to the time where she knew she'd have to return soon, so she wanted to make the best of it and get a few final moments of relax in before she'd have to leave.
She had just turned her focus back to her book when a sudden sound in front of her startled her right out of it, her gaze darting to... the girl, now sprawled out on the ground in front of her. She then noticed Bellamy's tail, which had been wagging aimlessly in the walkway in front of them. Must have tripped her.
Gilda blinked.
"Whoops."
