A soft hum left her after a moment, her legs swinging a tiny bit as they sat on the edge of the ledge that they were on with him. "Red huh? It's one of the first colors that people see isn't it? I like that. Red suits you." Even if she couldn't see the world the same as everyone else, she could picture it in her mind and that was enough for her. "Want to guess what my favorite color is?"

Souji blinked at the other's tone. His tone lost its normal playful edge. You really shouldn't...

His eyes lost their normal feigned aggression. The sudden change in the other brought out a change in him as well, a more open and curious, concerned expression. He had never seen Xigbar without that cocky sneer before.

Jokes are supposed to be funny, you know? "God forbid I say something and mean it," he sighed softly. He then turned and smirked.

"Besides, what would you know about humor? Your jokes barely land themselves..."

They gave a hum in response, waving their hand slightly gesturing for the other to follow them as they made their way towards the tower. Sure he could have just teleported them in, but they wanted the other to get the chance to see the outside world; even if just for a little while. Since in truth, it was a nice place. But with what they knew... well it wouldn't last long.

To his credit, he hadn't known it was going to happen. They were close, and he just... leaned forward.

He felt the tension leave him immediately once he did, like this was what he needed to right himself again, but it wasn't for long, pulling back, eyes fluttering open and realizing what he had just done... Not just taht, but Xigbar's face. The utter shock in his eye and the stunned silence.

He was sure the panic was clear in his own eyes, but he simply pulled back, willing his heart to stop hammering in his chest. He did his best to pull a calm face, even though his cheeks were burning and his eyes were still showing just how wildly his head was whirling.

"...so that's all it takes to get you quiet, huh?? Who would've thought..."
