DELTARUNE SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 3

Misc. Thoughts on the Susie and Ralsei interaction at the Beginning of the Chapter (Do forgive me, I am extremely tired as of writing this):

So, I've been thinking about Susie and Ralsei's conversation at the beginning of chapter 3.

For some reason, Susie's relationship with the Darkners really reminds me of the research done on the ties between reading fiction and empathy, and how fiction can sometimes raise levels of empathy/social awareness in those who feel a particular connection to a story.

Even if the Darkners are not "real" as Ralsei claims (and I do have my doubts on this, at the current moment I think Darkners may be akin to tsukumogami), the effects they've had on her life and emotional state are extremely real.

If the game is a slight commentary on escapism, this could be seen as a "benefit" of moderate escapist tendencies (being inspired to improve one's self via connection to characters and a narrative).

my I propose an idea:

light bulb darkner

bonus if ceiling fan or string lights

I would draw this now but there’s a cat in my lap. So

rambling and ideas below

So I’m definitely gonna do a ceiling fan, and I think it would be very angel/deity-esque, since it’s higher than anything else and provides light with which to help shape the light world. But in the dark world it could be considered a bad thing? Like because light would make things normal again, that or it would just be good bc even ppl in the dark world need to see idk
