Got my first #ribbonmic and I’m hooked. This is the @seelectronics X1R which offers incredible warmth and smoothness at a budget price. Using a neodymium magnet, it offers a pleasing presence boost that is great on spoken word, sounds really quite high end. Samples coming soon!

Saturday morning mic surgery. Successfully replaced the #capsule of my @rodemic #NT1a with a Neumann style #k47 capsule. Gone is the shrill, piercing and sibilant high end of the original.
