      After he got home from work, he spent his time fixing dinner for him and long time... friend? Child of friends? Who knows. At this point, all he knows is that he’s fond of her, and she’s grown to be quite the woman. He wants to get to know her more. So he fixes up some spaghetti and garlic bread, only to hear her at the doorbell. For once, he makes the place look less sad, and more homely with a few candles lit and some soft music playing. His piano looking well loved and touched with sheet music left over from when Dorothy came over the previous weekend and they played The Beatles songs together. He races to the door, draping his hand towel over his shoulder as he answer with a smile. “Hello, Harper! Please, step into my abode. It’s too cold for a little thing like you.” The smaller you are, the colder you get, right?

HOW LONG HAVE WE BEEN WRITING TOGETHER AT THIS POINT?? SERIOUSLY??? (I checked it’s been almost two years, which is freaking crazy.) But I have so much love for you, Hailey, you know this. If I were to sit here and talk about how great you are I’d be here all day and I’d have taken up most of the damn dashboard and I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Sooooo… you are seriously one of my favourite writing partners that I have because you’re such a fantastic writer and I always end up reading threads I’m not even involved with because I just love your writing. I can’t even talk about how much I love your characters because they’re just so fantastic I can’t even touch it without during this into an essay. But on top of that, you’re so sweet and kind and I just love you very much (even though you and Chen fuck with my emotions 24/7.)
