Continuation of the Felix killing Wendy one Requested by anonymous Link to previous prompt here [x]
Personal note: This prompt killed me. I just didn't know where else to take it. I'm sorry, it took so so so long but I tried!
Peter finds out Felix is going to kill Wendy he tries to save her but gets to her right as Felix kills her peter is broken holding his bird and rocking her back and forth
But I Never Fail
There was something in the air. It clung to everything, almost as if a sense of foreboding had coated the island so thickly that it was impossible to think.
Peter…
Her voice filled my mind, flushing out all other thoughts plaguing it.
Peter…
A shiver ran down my spine. The island was trying to tell me something.
I snapped my head to the right, catching the scent of danger. There was a sudden pang through my body as another voice nestled in my mind.I’m doing this for him. “Felix.” I clenched my hands into fists, allowing my mind to travel through the island. Trees warped past me as my consciousness blended into Neverland’s. Felix was hovering over the crumpled form of a girl. There was a fierce determination on his face. She scrambled along the ground, trying to escape him, but he only cornered her against the tree. She threw her hands up, trying to block his blows. I knew at once it was Wendy. It was my Wendy. “You’re a burden on, Pan,” Felix chastised, lowering himself to her level. “You’re changing him. Even I can see that. You’re making him lose focus. You’ve put some kind of spell on him.” “I haven’t,” Wendy pleaded, her brave facade dissolving into the fear she was trying to hide. “You have,” Felix muttered, tipping her chin up to look at him. “I know, because you’ve put that same spell on me. I can’t escape from you. My only thoughts are you. I can’t get you out of my head.” He raised a hand, a flash of indecision breaking his stern mask. He dropped them onto her shoulders, lowering his forehead to hers. “You’re coming between us. Pan and I…You can’t stay here anymore.” He pulled away, averting his gaze. “But no one gets off this island without Pan’s permission. Not unless they…” He clutched at the dagger adorning his belt, lifting it over her head. “I’m sorry,” he murmured, almost as if it pained him to say it. “I have to do this.” The image faded, my focus becoming blurred. The trees of Neverland rushed past me as my consciousness returned to my body. I snapped out of it, a peculiar feeling curdling in my stomach. It was almost like anger, but different. It had a bit of sadness in it, a bit of fear. It was like a mix of emotions, but I couldn’t pin point what it exactly meant. “Felix.” My body shook with rage. “That’s my Wendy.” I was there before I knew it. I wasn’t sure what had sparked inside me, but I knew I had to stop Felix. I couldn’t have him take away something that was mine. My hand slipped around his hood, dragging him away from her. I ignored the red splotches covering his attire, my eyes focused only on my Wendy. “Felix, what have you done?” I rushed forward, clasping onto my little bird desperately. I didn’t understand why I felt so empty, why there was such a painful feeling sweeping through my body. “Wendy.” I swept the hair out of her face, my eyes fixed on hers. “Wendy.” “Peter,” she whispered. She stroked my cheek softly with her shaking hand. “I…” “Shh,” I scolded through gritted teeth. “You’re not allowed to leave me. You’re mine. I won’t allow you. I won’t.” “Peter,” she tried again. She glanced down at the hole at her side where Felix’s dagger had pierced her, her hands grasping onto her night gown. “No!” I yelled. “I won’t let you leave me.” The winds lapped up as the skies darkened. “Pan,” Felix groaned from behind me, his eyes tracing the trees nervously. “I did this for you.” “No!” The ground shook as I watched the light from her eyes fade to nothingness. “Wendy!” A storm swept up, ragging against the Neverland forest. “Wendy!” I held her tightly in my arms, rocking her back and forth. A drop of water trickled down her cheek and I wiped my face, realising that somehow that drop had come from me. I didn’t understand what I was feeling. I didn’t want to. She couldn’t be gone. She couldn’t. Peter Pan never fails. “You,” I rounded on Felix, my eyes piercing right through him. “Do you realise what you’ve just done?”
