One year ago today, I found my way onto this lovely place. Here's to many more months of fun!

Tea isn't actually that bad.

I had soup for breakfast, lunch, and dinner today. I'm not even a large fan of soup, and yet I can't stop enjoying it. My headache has ebbed and flowed throughout the day, to the point where when I got home, I slept until I was awoken with an urge to eat more soup. If any one of you has a good "Get Well Soon" soup recipe, please tell me about it.

Normally I do one of these daily updates before I retire to bed, but I can't not write about this. I was able to find paint, brushes, and a canvas at the pawnbrokers a little while ago. I already have a well-loved easel in my flat. I can paint! I can finally create something comparable to what I often reblog!! Today is a good day because of that alone!!!

In much better news, I finally found my journal.

I bought something new today. A new pen, to be specific. It's quite good. I used it so often today during work, the ink flows just beautifully, you see. I can't wait to use it to actually write with it.

I should not be awake right now, I have work in the morning, but here I am. Today was as mundane as my current days can be. Work was average, I managed to pay more attention to the bookshelves than I did to my paperwork... It hasn't left the office, surely.

Other than that fiasco, I've started to pick up cookbooks at my local bookstore, so my sub-par cooking will improve, and I will be able to sustain myself off of much more than sandwiches and pasta! Everything will end up okay!
