Do you keep plants?

Not willingly. My landlady keeps giving me bouquets since she just can’t help herself when she sees one that catches her eye. I’m not good with plants, or flowers, but they do make good pigment.

I paint and play my lyre :-}.

are you self-conscious of your smile?

Why, should I be?

I kid, I jest, I enjoy my smile. Spreading a little kindness goes a long way.

What random objects do you use to bookmark your books?

I’ve used receipts, folded up pieces of paper, a capped pen, string, a paintbrush, one of my gloves… The list truly goes on and on.

What is something enjoyable that you are currently working on?

Finding the perfect pen to use while I journal every night. Something that is smooth, writes well, and one that can be easily transported between work and home.

What is your favorite color?

I’m a fan of a royal purple!

What is something you ache for?

A nice cuppa, a stable place to have that cuppa, and a comfortable passing of the cold I currently have.

Happy birthday!! What is your favorite sweet treat? And what is your wisdom gained by age and experience?

Thank you, dear theorist! I actually enjoy cake, though I don’t have it often enough! I save it strictly for birthdays.

As for wisdom, I learned that running away is often safer than staying. I’ve also learned that having a core support system, even if it is one or two people, is better than drowning in paranoia.
