It's dawn. Andy is awake, his body still for the most part, the pads of his fingertips dragging lightly down your side while you sleep. You promised him one night.

It's a new day.

He's greedy when his eyes open, taking in your body that is tucked against him, his lips brushing on the top of your shoulder. He could give all this up. Walk away and let someone else do the job that he thought he'd wanted since he was in his twenties.

That was until he met you.

Until he loved you.

Everytime he wants to say it, he holds back, unsure of the emotion that will follow. There are many different ways he can show it but there's something about the words leaving his heart to his lips that makes him uneasy about sharing such an intimate moment. He'll do it, of course. There's no shame in letting the world know that he's fallen for you.

Telling you is a completely different story.

So he presses a kiss against your temple, his eyes watching the sun climb into the sky before he turns his attention back to the most beautiful scenery in the world.
