The now defunct Dash and Will (using their names that they would had have if they were male) were a couple of chickadees that I was way obsessed with in high school after they played at my local FReeZA Battle of the Band's. I remember reaching my hand out for Will to touch between songs and letting out this almighty, ugly "AaAaAaARGH! noise. They both stopped what they were doing and giggled about it and asked if anyone heard it. She touched my hand and I was soooo happy lol. I tried to draw them all the time and collaged pictures of them from Dolly/Girlfriend mag onto books and shoeboxes.
I joined FReeZA a year after and got to go to The Push event in Melbourne where they were going to play. I was super keen and bought a tshirt (unfortunately a V neck which I don't enjoy). I didn't get to see them play because the other FReeZA member's decided to waste their day by sitting in the sun and getting heat stroke and complaining until we were dragged home earlier than we wanted. So I missed Dash and Will and didn't see them live again. 😭
