i think i'm finally all set for this semester at school. a little daunting as the new girl, but i think that is just something that will end up being okay in the long run. hi! i'm may rhodes, future broadway princess and baker extraordinaire. if you don't find me in dance studios, or at vocal lessons you'll find me at the bean where i'm a barista.

after taking my kid to the studio with me the other day while i had my students performing their monologues they've been practicing, she has now found a clear obsession with chappell roan and her favorite thing to tell me now is that "we need a femininomenon."

i don't know if i get dad of the year because of that... but everyone in class got a kick out of it. anyway, i'm ronin and i own an acting studio where people can fine tune their instruments of success. i also have the coolest daughter in the world. how's it going?

Can the weather just calm down now? It's barely spring and it's already so hot. I'm used to it being cooler, so this weather just wants me to walk around like I'm on vacation most of the time. I can't exactly do that at work. Probably wouldn't be a good thing.

Just giving everyone a heads up that decorations for Whispering Pines Farm with be slowly coming together. The Farm will be decked out by December 1st, and there just might be a few extra Christmas activities planned as well. I will do my best to keep everyone updated.

Has anyone tried just squishing the crabs? We're like godzilla to them, we could just...stomp. I haven't stomped yet no one get angry, but they keep doing this little SQUEEE noise and I've stubbed my toes no less than four times and I'm going to stomp.

I'm bigger, I'm stronger. The solution is right there. (Yes, I have considered the swarm of rats stat block. No I'm not deterred).

The people who are out and about at night are probably the most interesting people out there, ya know? Like I feel like people truly are their most authentic selves when the sun goes down even in Lima. Nothin’ like seeing these two girls having a dance party down the sidewalk and not giving a single care. Love that for them.
