Not to be controversial or anything, but I personally think it’s better than the movies? Those are cute and endearing but each episode of the show manages to teach an important moral lesson without really hammering it over your head or being too overt. With Alvin as the problem Chipmunk, he shows an extreme behavior example and then the others reign him in and show him a better way, all while making you laugh. And it’s amazing the way they’ve managed to modernize it and really stay up to date on the current things that actually affect kids, all while being colorful, musical, and really having heart.
