a couple months ago on their twitch stream the No Dogs in Space hosts were talking about their "calm down songs" and I couldn't figure out if I had one for ages bc my brain is a demon. but seriously, I don't know what the fuck it is about this song, but Heroin by the Velvet Underground grabs my brain by the scruff of its neck like a misbehaving cat. I can feel my thoughts stop. it's insane.

Yellowcard are one of those bands where they have one album that you define them by (Ocean Avenue), because it's the first album you fell in love with and obsessed over as a kid, but even though their best was a decade ago, they've stayed continually brilliant since. 

I just fucking love me some Yellowcard!
