Yep 3:< reason being that govt has no standing to inject itself into medical decisions that patients both have more knowledge on and actual skin at stake to be handling on their own, w/ doctor & med professional advice.

I’m salmacian, that much is there, and my HRT care is between my docs and myself only, that’s how care works for cısgender folks on any other kind of medical issue, so that’s how the standard must be maintained.

Otherwise, as is unfortunately happening now, the due process clause of 14th Nyamendment applies and this bill constitutes willful deprivation of rights under color of law.

I’m in AZ but I feel heavily for trans Kansans, we don’t need or warrant this pathologizing via intentionally cruel legislation. Fact remains that minors who do desire to start HRT are already needing diagnoses from professionals on top of information & informed consent, that much of already enough of a level of standards to determining veracity of a person’s self diagnosis juxtaposed with their experiences.
