After all those years of haunting dreams and incomplete memories, he had finally found her. The one that he loved through the centuries, without his heart ever stopping to long for her. Botan. She had been in his grasp, she had been in his arms, she had been there tightening the necklace around his neck with a smile, she had been there laughing, she had been there.
But she wasn’t anymore. He inhaled deeply, no he shouldn’t believe that, he couldn’t believe that Botan was gone! That...couldn’t be happening, could it? After all those years, he had thought that they could be together, he had thought that they would die together inside each other’s arms from old age, but she withered away, before he could even blink.
No matter how much he didn’t want to believe it, the proof was there, everybody had forgotten of her existence. It wasn’t a joke. There words hid no lies. He rushed outside, only one person could help him now. Ashiya. . His heart echoed in his chest like a metronome but his lungs were threating to burst from all those strong feelings burning inside him. The strongest one was despair.
“Ashiya!! Open up the damn door right now!!” he punched without holding back, he needed to rush, if the exorcist didn’t open the door soon, he would break it.
