Hermes only managed a whimper as he hit the floor. His whole body hurt from having held the same position for the duration of the week. He managed to look up as Raife was pushed into the room, his blood running cold. "No..." He croaked, voice hoarse, throat parched. He tried to push himself up weakly "no...Raife..."
Raife was able to tear his eyes away from Daudrie at the sound of the voice. He rushed over to him. “Hermes!” He assumed the god would be able to protect him from the cobra, but upon reaching him, realized how weak the other was. He stood tall, between Hermes and Daudrie. “What did you do to him?” he asked coldly, falling back on his avain reserve.
This caused Daudrie to narrow her eyes. “I haven’t done anything yet...well except not feeding him and keeping him from sleeping.” She moved quickly, grabbing Raife by the hair and throwing him across the room. He slammed against the wall, hard.
“You’re not so tough without your poisoned weapons little hawk.” She walked over to him, ignoring Hermes behind her in favor of stepping on the hawk to keep him down and breaking his other arm. He cried out in pain.
