This is based off a rl experience Imagine Dave forgetting to wash his hair out after swimming in a chlorinated pool and at the end of summer his hair has this like Pale green tint to it And he tries so hard to just ROCK IT

Some nights I open my refrigerator to make it sound like I'm eating so my dog comes downstairs because I'm lonely and there's never anyone to talk to

 I JUST REALIZED THAT IF VRISKA IS LOW-KEY MIND CONTROLLING EVERYBODY THEN THE REASON THAT DAVE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO RELIABLY SPEAKS UP AGAINST HER IS CAUSE THE SHADES PROTECT FROM MIND STUFF (like how he couldn’t communicate with the horror-terrors until he took them off and how we’re assuming they protected him and Bro from lil’ Cal a little bit).  Dave just doesn’t realize that everyone else is being messed with, he just noticed that they’re all weirdly complacent, and he’s like, fine then, I won’t do anything about it either.
