and as for the lgbt headcanons thing, i do headcanon john as believing hes straight, and wanting to be straight. however, i headcanon him as usually coming to terms with being bisexual with just a little bit of a female preference. its hard for him to come to terms with it, but eventually he does, at least to himself. he still struggles to come out tho, because he was one of those guys whos like yeah im totally straight and then is not, and hes afraid to come out, even tho one of his besties is a lesbian and the other is also bi. and thats is my headcanon of how john came to realize his sexuality and his struggle with it
