Hi! I just found your blog. Today, I got prescribed hormones and I'm starting T injections on Tuesday. I live in a dorm away from my parents, and they're not accepting of me being trans. Do you have any advice on how to hide it from them and/or how to tell them?

I’m afraid I don’t know of any way to hide it other than to simply not see/talk to your family, sorry.

As for how to tell them, if you want to do that, I’d guess it’s best to just be honest about it - say for example, “I’m starting hrt / starting testosterone treatment. This is who I am and this is what I need in order to live as happily as possible, and I ask you to respect that and support me in my decision.”

If any of my followers have been through something similar and have some advice to give, please feel free to add to this post.

the roller class is the best class in splatoon imo. you dont gotta aim-just run around and the shit works itself. its much faster at covering ground than the other weapons, and with all of them except the carbon roller, you just have to run into enemies and to squish them. because of the lack of range and lack of ability to squish, i find the carbon roller the hardest to use, but also the most fun. i never use anything but my carbon roller deco, regardless of the mode im playing. this can get tricky in tower control, but having the seekers helps immensely. theres honestly nothing more satisfying than the feeling of taking out an enemy squid with a seeker.
