finally had a chance to do some drag makeup again.
So I have the opportunity to perform again in a drag show in September.
I am over the moon excited to do this again! I have missed drag! I have missed seeing all the talented people, the music, the community.
I am also terrified.
After my last performance, a digital one, I felt truly and utterly defeated. It was so cringey I cried. It was my first digital experience though, and it was so different than being in front of the crowd. I am so happy that they’d even want me back again, so I’m determined to make it awesome. I have about a month (a little longer) before the show date, and I need to do three songs. I have no idea what they will be, but I do know I want to try and choreograph something. I want it to be an epic lip sync, with memorable performance.
Anyone have any fave songs or dancing tips, or links to great music videos that I can learn from?

When I was younger, it was Katie. Now that I’m older it’s Yilia for femme and Davey for masc.

This is the second time someone close to me has gotten approval for top surgery and I am jealous. I… don’t think I realized what I was feeling the first time it happened? But this time, I for sure knew it was a little twinge of jealousy.
Will I ever look into getting it done? Maybe. Will I find a better, more comfortable binder to wear more often? Yes. Yes I will.
You know... with a little bit of photoshop this could actually look like my body and not a cheap shirt 🤣
