it’s been fifteen minutes since the official school bell rang, and school was over for the day. the hallways clearing up as the students swiftly made their way to their buses or designated vehicles. the brunette, clad in her power cheer uniform, had just set a few drama club flyers in her locker before closing it, and was headed to practice when she spotted her ex boyfriend down the hall. smoothing down her skirt, she gives him a friendly smile once they meet in the middle of the hall. “did you have a good time at the party? i wish i could have stayed longer, but you know my parents and their stupid curfew rule.” and it’s truthful, at least mostly. she did enjoy talking to dave, but there’s a part of her that’s kind of glad she left, because even if the conversation hadn’t gotten too deep, there was a big chance it would have if she stayed, and she wouldn’t have the correct answers for him.
