Elder Dark Emperor David has been a huge part of my adolescence since at LEAST 2019. in 2020, When I was 15, I got sent to the psych ward yet again for um. very severe reasons. He was my comfort character that got me through it. I've had so many dreams about him and he was one of my BIGGEST character obsessions that lasted YEARS.
During this time, though, he was still a minor (as was I). So I worried that, like so many other characters, I would grow into an adult and he would not. I would have to leave him behind lest I want to write a paragraph justifying myself to each and every rightfully suspicious comment about how I had to age him up.
BUT HE GREW!!! HE GREW UP WITH ME!!! HE IS CANONICALLY A YOUNG ADULT NOW!!!!!
And yet. After all these years. There has no been a SINGLE good x reader of him. So, alas, I must do it myself...

comically inexperienced, unless you count that God awful situationship thing with Mark. he is a WONDERFUL boyfriend, he just. doesn't know how you're "supposed" to act with a partner.
