Victor Garber and David Haskell in "Godspell" (1973)
Heaven You'll Be Blessed, Yes, It's All For The Best!: David Haskell in 1973's "Godspell." He'd played the dual roles of John The Baptist and Judas in the stage show as well. He later did a stint on my favorite soap "Santa Barbara" as photographer (and former CIA operative) Nick Hartley, love interest for danger-plagued heiress Kelly Capwell. I initially found him to be a bad fit for her -- seeming too avuncular -- but he really grew on me, and I realized later that he struck me as being like the Scarecrow from "The Wizard of Oz" if he were magically made human.
Guess who started animating again
Gif 1 / Jesus from the 1973 film Godspell pops into frame, he is portrayed in a very cartoony style, he tilts his head to the side, closes his eyes, and sticks his tongue out as the text "ILY" with a heart comes up / end ID
Gif 2 / Jesus and Judas as portrayed in the 1973 film Godspell in a cartoony style, they are standing next to each other. Judas looks at him with a love-struck expression with cartoon hearts around his head, while Jesus looks away with a big smile, Jesus looks back at him causing Judas to jump in surprise and the hearts to pop. He looks away in embarrassment as Jesus' expression turns to one of fondness. / End Id.
