Check out what Video Copilot is releasing on July 10. It's really quite amazing...

Lumbre does a real slick job at branding. In a good deal of their vids they break out the bumpers, intros, outros etc. Check out he one above and a lot more on their site.
Storyboards by Ash Thorp
Some crazy style and storyboard work by Ash Thorp. There is a lot of work in the genre of our target audience for both entertainment and gaming. Ash recently finished a period of work at Prologue. Some really inspiring design work in here.
Storyboards by Brian Kai Louie
Check out Brian Kai Louie's storyboards. High quality illustration and highly stylized storyboards.
Here's a piece from Move Make Shake. It has a very organic, macro level yet mechanical feel to it. The subtle use of color almost goes unnoticed.
It falls under the same style as a couple other posts and meant to show that style as a trend and really backs a trend that we should try to emulate in some upcoming works.
There is something we should really take from this piece in terms of the IGN brand. There are so many styles in this piece, yet somehow you understand the underlying brand throughout.
With some down time we should start taking the IGN dpad and playing around with it in different scenarios, moods, scenes etc. If we can show that we can still get the brand across and make it more relevant and dynamic, it's worth showing to marketing.
Thoughts?

Syndicate in game narrative film by Vincent. Highly stylized and follows a style that has become a big trend in motion right now. You can see more people that are using this style and most likely the Plexus Plugin here.
There is also a decent amount of other work in video games field worth checking out on the Vincent's Vimeo page linked above.
