Bought Everything and its brilliant!

PLEASE SAY SOMETHING
Connections my mind made:
Industrial_memetics: agit-prop, memes and music page
Lakeview Hotel from Silent Hill 2 (2001)
“Well, I'm alone there now... In our 'special place'... Waiting for you...” — Mary's letter to James
Also the hotel from The Shining (1980)
The End of Evangelion (1997) I think there are more smol references from Evangelion.
500 Days of Summer (2009)
I can't stop relating the story to Silent Hill 2. OReilly's work is more cartoonish and the way it's told and sequenced is different (and many more details change obviously). Both works share deep psychological themes such as: relationship frustration, the weight of guilt. In both cases their partners are ill, they feel guilt when their partners die and attempt suicide due to the emotional connection they had with them, even though there was dissatisfaction and frustrations between. PLEASE SAY SOMETHING is truly a good slice of reality short full of fantasy elements.

Thinking David OReilly's imagination 1
Imagination is a serious matter, a collective power which can really change things and perceptions. Hitchcock once said "There is something more important than logic: imagination".
WOFL 2106
The following frames were selected based on the visual elements that compose them and my own reading of them: the contrasts -which are maintained throughout the short-, the red color of the blood and the sky in the background, a sunset (the fresh death), what the curved shapes can mean, the birth of more life from death.
【Visual】
An animal encounters the death of a similar one
The process of mourning
Death brings life too
Rebirth
Continuation of a different life.
【Tactile】
Death and change are inevitable parts of our life.
New life
New start
Crying to avoid exploding and continue until our “end”.
【Conclusions】
Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.
Facing death and grief is part of growing.
We can always continue.
