Emotion overwhelmed Charles when he saw his son standing before him. A face he recognised and cared about deeply. But he stopped in his tracks when he went to hug David. Something was different. Something was off. He couldn’t let himself read his sons mind but the temptation was there. “David?” He was afraid of what he might find out. This place was still a mystery to him so he had to be patient and learn.
