[Image Description: A split-screen drawing, featuring the duality of one pianist girl’s emotions with her two “adopted” siblings during a reunion. Towards one unlucky marine, she’s happy to see him, patting his fluffy brown hair as he stares at her in surprise. Towards one rambunctious Songbird pirate, she raises her hands in her scrunched-up kimono sleeves in worry, visibly concerned about the single tear in the pirate’s yellow eyes as the pirate sighs fondly. The drawing’s creation date, “8/28/2020,″ is carefully written in the top right-hand corner. End Description.]
It’s a few weeks early, but since the end of Seaside Sibling Train, I wanted to draw this for a while. For those of you wondering if Tomo would ever reunite with Leith and Jack — she does. Don’t worry. :)
@langwrites saw this drawing through to the end, and it took at least a day and half to finish. With references taken from Taa, the mangaka behind Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family, and many other refs of varying quality (all on the good side of the spectrum, of course), I could pull through on one of the biggest pieces I’ve done in a long while.
Dedicated to @fanfiction-by-abalisk (to help with the bad pain days you’ve had this past week) and @hylianhick / @icephysics95 / @unlucky-marine (as a very early birthday present, so happy early 25th birthday, Eli ⊂(・﹏・⊂)). Ali-nee, Eli, I hope you like this. I haven’t drawn Davy and Leith in my new style for a long while, so I hope this is a good enough present to make up for it.
Now to go rest my hands.
