I just hope he gets well soon. I'm a bit panicky about heavy breathing because just a few weeks ago I lost my beloved guinea pig to pneumonia and all that after weeks of fighting for his life and over 200€ spent for the vet and health devices. It was hell. Please post an update when he's feeling better, I'd like to hear good news.

And about your bunbun being a jerk... it's absolutely possible that that's the first stage of him becoming aggressive because he's lonely as fuck and starts to rebel since he feels like going insane. No bunny should ever be held alone and no human can replace another bunny. I have a tag for this known issue.
