Parallels

I love providing parallels in my writing, especially with my OCs. For example, Deerstar has now acquired the same scars his father had. Im constantly comparing Dawntalon and Deerstar because one of Deerstar’s biggest fears is adopting his father’s flaws. He will fail to avoid it, however. I’m also grooming Duckpaw to parallel @ryestar ’s character, Cedarstripe. Both wish their father’s would value them, though while Cedarstripe will never achieve this, Duckpaw will, but he may never realize it. The two even have the same suffix although that was just because I liked the name Duckstripe. It still works in my favor though. The last bit is with two characters I don’t play, @british-hare-ways ’s Juniperpaw and @hawkclawsdiary ’s Anya. They both despise each other yet are very very similar. Anya is everything Juniperpaw despises, a kittypet. And Juniperpaw is something Anya secretly admires, an accepted clan cat mentored by the leader.

Just thought it was cool and that I should post something considering I haven’t really done anything on this blog in a while

Deerpelt’s parents throughout his life 7/9 ( Yes there are two more *wink wink* )

His father’s name is Dawntalon and his mother is Lichenfur. Dawntalon was Deerpaw’s mentor and Lichenfur’s sister was actually the mother of another member of Nettleclan, making Deerpelt and Stoneclaw cousins.
