[She’s stood outside the tattoo parlor, making herself look busy by scrolling through her instagram, seeing what her college friends are getting up to on their break. Eva hadn’t seen Dax yet since coming home, so knowing she would be seeing him shortly had her feeling all giddy - he was, after all, one of the loveliest people she had ever met. Feet scuffing along the ground, she made her way to Daxton’s office. A big part of the young girl wanted to turn around and run, but she knew it was now or never. She’d already got past the first step, and that was admitting that she did need help, but now she had to actually act upon that for it to make a difference.

She was so fed up of the constant nagging the back of her mind. That even in her happiest moments, there was all her fears there, preventing her from being truly happy. Taking in a deep breath, she knocked on his door, having already seen his previous client leave, nervously awaiting his call for her to come in and face what she had been burying for years.
